- The Owner of all the manifestations in existence is Allah. It is He who presents all existence as abook to His servant. There is no unevenness in that book.
- All existence is a straight book. It carries the truths that belong to Him. It is to be warned with thetruths and not to fall into further errors. Those who do righteous deeds and are among the believersrejoice in the truths. There is a beautiful reward for them.
- There is to act in accordance with those truths continuously.
- Allah explains the truths to those who say He has begotten a child and warns them.
- They and their ancestors have no knowledge of this matter. The evil that comes out of their mouthsis nothing but lying.
- When you talk about the truths to those who are on the path of their own ignorance, you will almostdestroy yourself with grief because, they do not believe.
-We have bestowed upon them attributes on the earth, that they may do good deeds, and that theymay think carefully and understand Us.
-Indeed, We are the Ones who have arranged their human being bodies.
-Did you think that there was any strangeness in Our signs concerning the Companions of the Cave ?
-When they took refuge in their place of refuge, they said: O our Lord! Grant us the wisdom ofYour mercy, which belongs to You, and grant us the realities of Your functioning, and of advancing inthe path of Truth.
-Thus, they remained in their place of refuge for many years, turning their ears to the realities, andthey were shaken as they understood Us.
-Then, they understood that the life in all of existence belongs to Us. As long as any group actsupon Our wisdom, they will understand the realities.
-We have presented to you their knowledge in truth. They were young men who believed in theirLord, and as their faith in Us increased, they were guided.
-They clung to Us as they realized the One who keeps all things alive. Thus they said, “You are theOne who created us, and You are the One who created the heavens and the earth. We will never turn todeities of conjecture, leaving You behind. Indeed, if we did that, we would be among thetransgressors.”
-Our people have taken deities besides Allah, and they have forsaken clear proofs. And who is moreunjust than one who fabricates about Allah and tells lies?
-These young men turned away from the faith of their people, and they did not worship anythingother than Allah. So they took refuge in the place where they sought refuge. One of them said: Mayyour Lord enlarge you with His mercy and help you to understand His functionings.
-You will see the brightness reflecting on the faces of those who take refuge because, theyunderstand the Owner of the life, and those who do not understand the life are in strangeness. Thosewho understand the verses of Allah are in comfort. He who finds the way to Allah is the one who isrightly guided. And he who strays from the truth, you will not find for him any protector other thanAllah.
-You would think that they are in their own ecstasy. We will return them from the state of notunderstanding the Owner of life to the state of understanding the Owner of life. They have left theirviolent state of greed. If you had seen their former state, you would have wanted to flee from them andyou would have been afraid of their state.
-Thus, they questioned the truths among themselves and understood that the life belongs to Us. Oneof them said: How long did we stay here in a search? They said: We stayed a day or less than a day.He said: Our Lord is the Owner of the wisdom during your search. So, let one of you go to this citywith what is in your possession and then see which is the purest food, then bring it here, being carefuland without anyone noticing.
-If you make yourself known there, they will either drive you out or turn you back to their ownbeliefs and traditions, and you will never be able to escape from there.
-Thus, they became of those who knew Our signs within themselves. Indeed, the manifestations ofAllah are real, and there is no doubt about them. Those who could not understand the realities arguedamong themselves about the functionings of existence. Then they said: They attained greatness byknowing that The Owner of Wisdom is the Lord, they attained success by understanding thefunctionings. Let us also be of those who understand, without discrimination, that every place is aplace of submission to Allah.
-Those who do not understand the truths, they argue about what they do not know. They say, “No,”and they were three, and the fourth was their dog. Or they say, “They were four, and the fifth was theirdog.” Or they say, “They were six, and the seventh was their dog.” Narrate: Those who remained inthe customs do not know the truth, even a little, about the One who created all things. So, do not enterinto an open dispute with those who remained about the truths, and do not explain it to any of them.
-Do not say, “I will certainly do this tomorrow.”
-But say, “Only by Allah’s will.” When you forget, remember your Lord, and say, “My Lord is theGuide to me, and He will show me the way to understand closeness.”
-And they disputed and doubted about those who took refuge. They said, “They remained for threecenturies,” and some said, “More than that.”
-Narrate: Allah is The Owner of Wisdom of what is in the heavens and the earth, the seen and theunseen. He is the One who makes you see and hear. There is no protector other than Him. He has nopartner in His dominion over all creation.
-You are a book of your Lord, so read what is presented to you therein. No one can change a wordof it, nor can you find recourse except Him.
-Be patient in knowing your soul. Be with those who seek to understand the inner face of existence, morning and evening, and turn to their Lord. Do not turn your gaze away from the truth. Do not beamong those who seek their own interests in their lives. Do not follow those who cannot understandOur remembrance in their hearts, those who are heedless of understanding Us, those who follow theirdesires, and those who are indifferent to the rules.
-Say: Understand the realities of the One who created you. After this, whoever wills, he willbelieve, and whoever wills, he will ignore the realities. Indeed, those who cannot understand Us andare in injustice are in burning and destructive states. They are surrounded by such states everywhere, and they are in evil. Their state is like a flowing mine that burns their faces, and they have taken evilas their companions.
-Surely, those who believe and work righteously are those who do good deeds. We will not wastethe rewards of those who understand Us.
- Here they are; they are in the presence of submission to the Owner of all manifestations, they areon a wisdom in their stations, they are in the state of understanding the essence of the stations there, they have embraced the perception of liveliness, they are in the presence of understanding the formsand characteristics, they have taken truth and beauty as friends in their stations there.
- Show them the example of two people: We provided fruits from two gardens of one of them, andpalm trees on its banks, and crops in between.
- And We provided fruits from both gardens, and there was nothing lacking in them, and We causeda river to come out between them.
- And he who had fruits in his garden said to his companion: I am better than you in wealth and inthe people around me.
- He entered his garden and became arrogant for his own self, and became one of the wrongdoers. He said: I do not think that this place will ever perish.
- I think that it will always exist, I do not think that it will perish, and when I come to my Lord, Iwill see better, I will be more acceptable.
-He spoke to his friend in this way. His friend said to him: Do you disregard and cover the realitiesof Him who created you from soil, then from a drop of semen, then from a drop of water, then fromHim who created you and created you?
-He is Allah who created me, and I do not associate anything with Him who created me.
-When you entered your garden, why would you not have said, “All this has happened by the will ofAllah, there is no power except Allah?” But you looked down on me in terms of wealth and children.
-Surely, my Lord will give me good things like those in your garden. It is hoped that you wouldknow the Owner of the qualities offered from the Sublime World and you would hand them over tohim. Thus, that blessed thing will not slip away from your hand.
-Otherwise, it will flow away like water, and then you will never be able to understand the realities.
-He clung to the forms of greatness among his fruits. So, he took Ownership of what was there withone self, and he did not spend what was given to him, and he was dragged into a void in that position, and he said: I wish I were not one who associated others with my Lord.
-There is no one to help him except Allah, and there is no one to help him.
-Here is Allah, the Authority, the Owner of the Truth. Truth and goodness are from Him, and Healways provides good.
-Emphasis them on their state of life. That life is like water that We send down from the sky, then itmixes with the earth, from it plants grow, then they turn yellow and crumble, and are scattered by thewind. Allah has power over all things.
-Wealth and children are the adornments of the worldly life. What remains is righteous deeds andgood deeds. What is right is to be on the truths of your Lord and to do good deeds.
-We are the Ones who make those who are in greatness walk on their feet, and you will see thisclearly on earth, and We are the Ones who bring them out, and not one of them is separate from Us.
-He who created you has given you all your qualities in unity. And you will certainly come to Us asWe created you. Did you think that this date would never come?
-When the divine words are revealed, you will see that those who remain in evil are in that whichthey fear. They will say: Woe to us because we do not understand the truths. What kind of a book isthis that leaves nothing unexplained, both great and small? Whoever does will have a reward for it,and your Lord is not unjust to anyone.
-We informed Adam: Realize the power in all existence and be in complete submission. So, hesubmitted with his whole being. However, he who remains on the outer surface of existence andcannot see the inner face, and cannot understand the power in all existence, refuses to submit. He isone of those who cannot recognize his own essence. Thus, he cannot understand the functionings ofhis Lord in every existence and remains in duality. Will you still cling to those states? Will you takesaints from those who act in those states instead of understanding Me? Those states are your enemies. What an evil change for the wrongdoers.
-The wrongdoers did not know the creation of the heavens and the earth, and they did notunderstand the existence within themselves, and they remained in ignorance, clinging to lies, andcould not understand Me.
-Then, it will be said to them, “Call those whom you associate with others in your assumptions.” So,they invite them, but none will respond to their invitation. What prevents them from understanding thetruths We have presented to them is their own fear.
-Those who are in destructive states remain in evil. Their assumptions are what keep them there, and they will not be saved from them.
-Indeed, We have explained all matters in the book of the universe for mankind in detail. But, manis more in discussion than in understanding.
-When they are guided and told, “Seek forgiveness from your Lord,” what prevents people frombelieving is that they are presented with something other than what was done with the past, or thatthey think that they will remain in hardship in what was presented to them.
-Those who show the truths have not come out except to call to Our truths and to warn and to givethem peace through the truths. Those who ignore and cover up the truths argue against the truths withfalsehoods and cling to falsehoods in opposition to Our verses and do not heed the call to the truths.
-Who is more unjust than he who turns away after being reminded of the verses of his Lord? Thosewho forget what was presented and who is in their power. We have presented the truths to their hearts, but in their hearts are veils from reaching them and in their ears is deafness from hearing. If you tellthem to follow the call of the One who guides, they will never follow the One who guides.
-He who created you is the One who forgives you. If they had questioned what was given to themand were not hasty in their distress, they would have understood the One who encompasses all placeswith His mercy. On the contrary, they have a respite. They will never find refuge except in Him.
-They are those who were destroyed in the towns where they were, because of their evil deeds. Wepresented the truths to them every moment until death comes to them, so that they do not ruinthemselves.
- Moses said to his companion: There is no stopping until we reach the wise man who knows thesecret of Tawhid, even if we travel for days.
-So, when they reached the wise man who knew the secret of Tawhid, they forgot what they knewin their hearts. So, their hearts turned towards what the wise man said.
-So, when they arrived, he said to his companion: Bring our food. Indeed, we are tired from ourjourney.
-He said: Did you understand how our own knowledge hardened our hearts when we were there? Our hearts remained in those truths that were told there. What had prevented us from understandingthe truths until now was nothing but our satanic states. So, his heart clung to the truths that the wiseman had told him with a difference.
-He said: These are the truths we were seeking. So, they listened to the words that were narrated andturned away from their own knowledge that affected them.
-So, they found one of Our servants. He was one of those who knew that the mercy We hadbestowed upon him belonged to Us, and he was one of those who knew Us with the wisdom thatbelonged to Us.
-Moses said to him: Can you teach me from what you have been taught, and that I may follow youso that I may attain perfection?
-He said: You will not be able to be patient when you are with me.
-How will you be patient with wisdom of which you do not understand?
-Moses said: Hopefully, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in what you do.
-He said: So, when you follow me, do not ask me about anything, not until I tell you about it.
-They sailed on until they boarded a ship, which he pierced. He said: Did you pierce it to drown itsOwners? And what did you do?
- He said: I told you that you are not able to be with me.
- He said: Do not criticize me because I forget, and do not make it difficult for me to understand therules.
- So they continued, and then, they met a young man, who ruined him. He said: How can you ruin aperson who has nothing but his own existence and whose condition is pure? Indeed, what a terriblething you have done.
- He said: I told you that you are not able to be with me.
- He said: If I ask you about anything after this, do not keep me company. I hope you will accept myapology.
- So, they continued, and they came to the people of a town. They asked for food from the people, but they refused to host them. Then, they saw a wall there that was about to collapse, so theystraightened it. He said: If you had wanted, you would have surely received it.
-He said: The journey between you and me has ended here. Now is the time to part. I will informyou of the truth of that which you were not able to endure patiently.
- That ship belonged to poor people functioning at sea, and behind them was a king who hadusurped all the ships. For this reason I wanted to blame him.
- As for the young man, his parents were believers. We feared that he would ruin them because ofhis anger and concealing the truth.
- So, We wanted him to change his ways, to be good, pure, close to his family, merciful, and toknow their Lord as he knows Him.
-And the wall belonged to two orphans in that town. Under it was their treasure, and their father wasof the righteous. So, your Lord intended that they should grow mature and grow strong, and that theyshould bring forth the treasure by the mercy of your Lord. I have not followed anything but Hiscommands. This is the truth of that which you could not bear with patience.
-They ask you about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, “Let me inform you of him.”
-He was one of those who knew that We are the One who holds the whole earth firm, and he wasone of those who sought the subtleties in all that We have presented.
-Thus, he became subject to the wisdom of the existence of being.
-So, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found there the people who were angry, and ina strange manner, similar to them. We informed him, “O Dhul-Qarnayn! Either you cause themdistress or you show them goodness.”
-He said: Whoever is unjust, then he will find trouble. Then, he will be distant from his Lord, so hewill be in unexpected trouble.
-But whoever believes and works righteously, then he will be rewarded with being among therighteous, and he will have an easy understanding of Our words.
-Then he continued to follow the causes.
-When he reached the place where the sun rises, he found therein the light rising upon a people. Wedid not provide them with any covering other than that light.
-That is how it is. They are the ones who are surrounded with the wisdom of the truth.
-Then he continued to follow the causes.
-When he reached between the two walls, he found a people. Besides them was another people whodid not understand anything and did not listen.
-They said: O Dhul-Qarnayn! Indeed, those who attribute qualities to themselves and do evil with it,and those who attribute existence to themselves and do evil with it, are the ones who create mischiefon earth. Therefore, we will give you the reward of your efforts so that you can build a barrier betweenthem and us.
-He said: What my Lord will give is better. So, join me with all your strength to establish a strongbarrier between you and those who do evil and create mischief.
-Realize the truths of the Book that I have brought, realize the limits, and strive until you understandthe place from which all sounds come, and their similarities. He said: Understand that He makes youbreathe, and understand that you are arranged by His light. He said: Follow the truths that I havebrought, empty yourself of all your evils, know that you are a drop of Him.
-If you do these, they will not be able to rule over you, nor will they be able to govern you.
-He said: This is from the mercy of my Lord. Thus, my Lord is the One who brings about all things. He is the One who presents the truth, and the manifestation of a thing is the reality of my Lord.
-Some of them did not understand Us and became divided. Some always experienced fluctuationswithin themselves. But those who understood the Spirit in the forms, they were gathered in Our unity.
-And for those who ignored the truths We presented, there is always the hell of ignorance.
-Their vision is veiled, they cannot understand the truths, and they have no power to hear thetruths.
-Do those who ignored the truths think that they can take saints from My servants instead of Me?Indeed, for those who cannot understand Us, there is the hell of ignorance. That is where those whoignore the truth will end up.
-Say: Shall I inform you of those who are lost in their deeds?
-Those who, in their works in the worldly life, abandon the truths and go astray into falsehood, andthey think that they are doing good.
-They are those who ignore the signs of the One who created them and that unity. Thus, they donot find a reward in their deeds. Thus, they do not understand that We are the One who keeps allexistence alive. They will not have a measure of understanding of the truths until they die.
-Those, because they ignored the truths and did not heed Our signs and those who showed them, their reward is the hell of ignorance.
-Surely, the state of those who believe and work on the right path is the peace of looking at allpeople with the pleasure of the Truth.
-They always act in that state and do not want to depart from it.
-Say: If the seas were ink to write the words of my Lord and were to be like it, the words of myLord would not run out, the seas would run out.
-Say: I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that the Power you seek refuge in isOne Power. After this, whoever wants to understand the unity of his Lord, he should do righteousdeeds and be in the unity of his Lord, be conscious of servitude, and not associate partners with Him.
